Play with Purpose
At Nanaimo City FC, we create a space for kids who might feel left out of competitive fee based athletic organizations due to language, culture, or cost. As an alternative we have chosen to focus on a fun atmosphere, developing friendship, and building confidence through play.
In a world dominated by disconnection and screens, we’re bringing kids back to the joy of shared experience and community. We do this through helping children develop essential life skills from teamwork and self-worth, to real human connections.
We are a volunteer based, registered non-profit organization where community partnership and player sponsorships help to empower our mission and execute our vision.

To create inclusive, pressure-free spaces where children facing cultural or economic barriers can build confidence, friendships, and life skills through the joy of soccer.

To foster healthy community, wellbeing, and meaningful cultural connection for youth and families in Nanaimo.
Inclusive Play
We believe in equal access to soccer. Every child deserves the chance to belong, regardless of background or ability. We foster inclusion by creating a space where cultural and language differences are celebrated, not barriers. We encourage kids to try new things, build confidence, and grow through play. We teach respect for self and others, and we nurture friendship as one of the most powerful tools for healing, connection, and joy.
